We didn’t have a large budget to work with, however were very keen to transform our dark blue kitchen to a lighter version and turn it into a more child-friendly environment. Josh recommended having our cupboard doors sprayed a crisp white, removed our high counter-top and replaced our old laminate top with Roxx Cartel, a milky white engineered stone flecked with gray. Our kids can now sit at the benchtop that doubles as a breakfast bar making our kitchen much more usable and sociable. We appreciated Josh being able to make maximum impact with the kitchen transformation whilst working to our tight budget. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his work to anyone. We used Josh Farr of Designer Benchtops to install Corian benchtops in both our kitchen and bathroom. We chose Corian as our benchtop material because it is very easy to keep clean and looks completely seamless when installed.  We can’t see the joins at all. Its also a forgiving surface as any nicks and scratches can apparently be sanded out and the surface repolished if necessary. So it should still look great in 10 years time. A renovation is stressful at times. There were lots of decisions to be made on things we didn’t know much about. Having good tradespeople makes a huge difference to the smooth running of a job. Josh Farr was an excellent tradesman on our job.  He was at all times professional, courteous, reliable and great at liaising with the other trades involved to ensure the benches were fitted in good time. That meant the plumbing could be installed and the job wasn’t held up. Josh was happy to talk through what we wanted to do and had all the samples of various benchtop materials. He was also able to supply the kitchen sink for us and we got it at a good price as he can order kitchen sinks direct from the manufacturers. We are happy to recommend Josh Farr.  He did a great job for us. He helped iron out problems that arose and took the time to explain things and answer questions. We also noticed that he was always careful to minimise mess and clean up after his work and took care of our newly polished wooden floors by laying down thick blankets for his tools to sit on.
